2012 International Tang Soo Do Championships Divisions SATURDAY,  November 3, 2012 10am Weapons/Forms/Sparring   SUNDAY, November 4, 2012 9AM to 12 noon Seminar   Registration for competitors will be Saturday 9am 1, 2, or 3 events all the same price= € 30 Euro for one or more tournament events Seminar = € 20 Euro for one or more seminars Beautiful Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.  5 Large Grand Champion trophies will be awarded in the Black Belt division.  If any divisions are over crowded they will be split.   Division Breakdown:     All Color belt divisions will be set the day of the tournament, according to the number of competitors Grand Champion trophies will be awarded for Men’s Sparring, Women’s Sparring and Junior Sparring ( 12 to 15 yrs old) in Black Belt Divisions Sparring Sparring Black Belt Boys Pee wee 11 yrs old and under Junior 12 to 15 yrs old  Black Belt Girls Pee wee 11 yrs old and under Junior 12 to 15 yrs old  Black Belt Men 16 and up Light Weight Heavy Weight Black Belt Women 16 and up Forms Grand Champion trophy will be awarded for Black Belt Forms Boys and Girls together ages 17 and under Black Belt Masters Men Black Belt 3rd dan Men Black Belt Masters Women Black Belt 3rd dan Women Black Belt 1st and 2nd dan Men 16 and up Pee wee 11 yrs old and under Junior 12 to 15 yrs old Black Belt 1st and 2nd dan Women 16 and up Pee wee 11 yrs old and under Junior 12 to 15 yrs old  Weapons Grand Champion trophy will be awarded for Black Belt Weapons Black Belt Masters Men Black Belt Men 16 and up Pee wee 11 yrs old and under Junior 12 to 15 yrs old  Black Belt Masters Women Black Belt Women 16 and up Pee wee 11 yrs old and under Junior 12 to 15 yrs old

I.T.O.  Championships Sparring Rules   1.        Mouthpiece, cup and headgear mandatory.  Foot gear optional, No Hand gear.  Cloth hand raps or cloth foot guards are optional.   2.        No Punching to the face, no back fists, no chops, no groin strikes.  No sweeping or take downs.   3.        Light contact to the body, no contact to the face.   4.        Target areas: Front of the body, ribs, side of the body, close techniques by feet only to the face area, ear to ear.   5.        Illegal target areas: Back of the head, back of the body, below the belt.    6.        Warnings: 2 warnings will result in loss of 1 point 3 warnings disqualification.   7.         Warnings will be awarded for excessive contact, running out of the ring, talking back to judges or disrespectful attitude.   8.        Disqualification: For drawing blood, disrespectful attitude towards other competitors or judges, three warnings, excessive            contact to illegal target areas.   9.        Matches will be 2 minutes, the first competitor that scores, 5 points blackbelt or 3 points under black, wins.              In the case of a tie, first point in overtime  wins. 10.        There will be no coaching from the sidelines.
